Only 3 left !!

We have only 3 puppies left. Someone needs to adpot them before I get anymore attached!! We have 2 girls and 1 boy. They will not pose very well for me today. Its a beautiful sunny day after a cold gloomy weekend. When we went out for pictures, frolicking was all they had in mind!!

Here they are.......

Pup #1 Our last male, he is the smallest of them all but he makes up for it in devotion. Wherever I go he is right at my side and has great eye contact which will make training him with handsigns a breeze. His coat topcoat is white/cream but his bottom coat is apricot. He looks light apricot with a layer of frost on top. Very pretty. I'm anxious to see how his coat turns out.

Next is my little girl. She is the remaining of the two twin girls. She is a tiny cream color and very fluffy. You can tell she is a girl by the way she acts. She is cuddly and is happiest in my lap.

Puppy Number 3 is my BIG girl. She is definately larger than the others but its all heart!! Her coat is very full without being too curly. She is a great foot warmer. Whenever I sitdown she is right there laying at/on my feet. Great companion dog and very intellegent. She will be easy to train because all she wants is to bring a smile to your face.

Family Tree

Here is Cowboy. Cowboy is the father of this litter. He is a F1 Labradoodle and about 3 years old. His coat is hard to tell but has a beautiful red overcoat with a pale cream undercoat. Just look at the fullness of his tail. He is a BIG boy. He is still as gentle and mellow as he was as a pup. I hadn't seen him since he was 2 months old and a few months ago a family came for an interview at my daycare and it turned out they were the new parents of Cowboy. Small world.

When it came time to breed Molly ( Standard Poodle on the side bar ) he was my first choice of daddy's. He came from a litter that was very special to me and a litter with the best overall qualities. This litter was my pride and joy all the genes mingled just right to make the perfect Labradoodles. And here comes Cowboy back into our lives and gives us these beautiful F1Bs.

I'm such a proud Momma !!

Now this is Willow. She is Cowboys sister and the love of my life ( doggie speaking) . When Willow stands up she is almost as tall as I am ( 5'7" ) The bigger the better when it comes to snuggling. Willow is very shaggy black with silver wisps throughout her hair and around her eyes. She is very laid back but will never turn down a good run or game of catch. We are hoping to breed Willow with a very large Silver male Standard Poodle later this year.

Brother and Sister Act

Our big boy Wolfie and his little sister Mocha Latte, have headed home to their new parents. Kara and Trent are the cutest couple and the biggest dog lovers next to me!! Hope they won't mind me sharing their love story. They are both from Alaska. Kara has been surronded by Huskies and dog teams her whole life. She is so passionate about dogs. She met and married Trent even though he was horribly allergic to dogs!! Isn't that romantic......true love !! They had been looking into Labradoodles for the hyper-allergenic reason and were thrilled to find a local litter just waiting for them. Trent came over and met with the doodles and had no negative reactions at all!! He brought Kara over the next night and a new family was formed. These will be two lucky puppies, they will have a large yard, desert and aquaduct all at their disposal. They are going to be trained for agility and I'm sure will be great successes due to their eagerness to learn and their desire to please. I have never felt so comfortable with any family taking away my babies as I did with this couple. It was a perfect match all around.

The first to leave the nest

Cinnamini was the first to leave the nest. She has been adopted by Debbie in Covina, Ca. Her name has been changed to Annie and what else could it be with all those red curls!! She is adapting to being spoiled in her new home and is happily using the doggie door as needed!! Debbie's hobbies are candy making ( Mmmmm, no chocolate for Annie but I'm sure she'd love the peanut butter!!) and scrapbooking. I'm hoping for a few pages sent my way...hint, hint!!Congratulations to both of you !!

Todays the day....

Today is the day the first advertisements come out for our beautiful puppies to find new homes.
This is always a bittersweet time. I fall in love with these guys and want to keep each and every one. One the other hand I get so excited to see the joy they bring to their new families.
I always request that the new families stay in touch, e-mail me pictures, and keep me posted about their new family member. I am happy to say that we have developed some wonderful new friends and have gotten to watch our pups mature and change as they grow up.

WHAT IS A LABRADOODLE?
Labradoodles are very loving dogs, known for their exceptional intelllegence and trainability, low to non-shed coat, and lack ofdoggie odor. They are known as one of the finest family pets around.

Labradoodles are sociable, friendly non-aggressive and extremely intuitive. Their intelligence and their trainability make them well suited for guide dogs, therapy dogs and other assistance dogs. Their non-allergic coats make them popular among people who have not been able to enjoy pets because of their allergies.

Labradoodles are labrador retrievers corssed with a standard poodle. This is called a F1. It is 50% Lab and 50% poodle. These are great dogs. Their coats are more unpredictable. Wiry, wooly, shaggy or smooth. Shedding or non-shedding. If allegries are not a concern then these dogs are for you! Great mellow temperment and a fantastic family pet.

The next level is a F1b. This is a Labradoodle bred with a poodle. This makes them 75% poodle and 25% Lab. These are the most desirable of coats. Very low to Non shedding coat. Super intellegent and trainable.

An F2 Labradoodle is the same as a F1 50% lab and 50% poodle.

Coats come in a variety of colors. Black, white, red , cream, and tan

OUR PUPPIES
This current litter of puppies is a F1b line of doodles. The father is a beautiful red Labradoodle, Cowboy, that I bred 2 years ago. His parents are an AKC black lab, Maddie. Maddie was chosen because of temprament, health and her amazing coat. His father was an AKC Champion Standard red male Poodle. Clarence was a very tall male, with beautiful body lines. The mother of this litter is my AKC red Standard poodle, Molly. She was chosen for her temprament, show qualities and her size. Molly is tall as is Cowboy. These will be large dogs. Approximately 60-80 lbs. We have great expectations for this litter. We have 4 boys and 6 girls.

I try with each litter not to give the puppies names. I refer to them as a group as "puppies" but somehow they all seem to get names from their personalities, all names can be changed. It is not as much the name as the way it is said.


THE BOYS

Ryder --- SOLD

Wolfie --- Biggest male of the litter. He is pure white. Fiesty, loving fluffball!!!

Spot --- Longer hair, Pure white with tiny black spot on his back. CAUTION....Snuggler Will melt your heart!!

Shagsy --- Smaller than his brothers but double the personality!!


THE GIRLS

Cinnimini --- SOLD

Mocha Latte --- darkest of the puppies. Mocha colored!! Sweet personality and the first to snuggle on your feet.

Little Alice --- tinist of the litter but caught up quick. Happiest when snuggiling on your neck!!

Peachie --- Fluffy little lady , beautiful pale orange color.

Blondie and Fluffy --- the twins!! Light cream color, sweetest faces, hard to tell apart.


All puppies have received their first shots and second will be given on appropriate date. Puppies have all been checked by the vet and given a clean bill of health. If your vet finds any abnormality in the puppies health on their initial visit, first 2 weeks, puppy can be returned for a full refund.

Puppies are sold at a first come basis. A non-refundable deposit will be needed to hold your choice.

Shagsy's Day

Todays puppie of the day is " Shagsy". Male 7 weeks old.
Shagsy got to go to daycare with me today. B y the time I got the camera he was pooped from playing. Shagsy loves recess! 20 little feet to chase after or run from. Balls to pounce on and slides to conquer. I have noticed that this litter are not diggers. Our sandbox was safe. Also with all the toys in the daycare nothing has been chewed on except for their rawhides and their knotted socks.
Shagsy's fur is how he got his name.....he is shaggy. Not long and straight but not super curly either. Hmmm ...how does soft spikes sound??

DOG TIRED AT WORK

Every puppy gets a chance to be puppy of the day and goes everywhere with me. This is "Spot". Spot is an amazing puppy. Largest of the litter, male, Very long, straight hair. And wonderfully soft. The amazing thing about Spot is the reason for his name. He has alittle tuft of black hair on his back. The black gene goes back to his grandmother on his fathers side. There is no other black in this litter. At the time of this picture Spot is laying asleep on my desk in a room with 14 kids under 6. How is that for being mellow!!

Can't you just imagine Spot Laying on Obamas desk in the Oval Office!!!
